sorry this thread has been pointless but I figured it out and wanted to post the answer for anyone else who has the same issue.

If I go to "edit feature" on the flange

then go to corner and chose "arc weld"

then at the gap size I type /10 right after gap size so it looks like "gap size/10" it closes the gap really close

What does the "/10" or "/ any number" mean after the gap size? just for future refrence what is it thinking that command means?

On the current part im building I have all 4 edges bent up and I was wanting the corners to come together and tough on the inside edges so I could weld the outside edge. For some reason I cant figure out how to get the gaps to come together to touch. Im using flanges for the sides that are being bent up instead of folding along a line since theyre the easiest for me to work with, not sure if thats part of the issue.

Attached is a picture of the computer model vs my real steel product. I was hoping that the computer model was just showing the corners weird but of course my end model ended up almost exactly like the computer model.

I know there is a corner edit box and Ill go to that and can change the relief shape, etc.. I have it set for a symmetric corner gap. It looks like I should be able to change the corner gap but its greyed out and wont let me

Hi! What corner relief option did you choose (Tear or Linear Weld)? Please share the files here. There should be a solution to get the desirable shape.

Many thanks!

I got it figured out by adjusting the gap size by typing "gap size/10" not sure what the "/10" actually means but it did the trick. I used arc weld for the corner type since ill be mig welding the corners.

I suspect that your technique can be simplified.

Gap is a variable - probably set to Thickness.

You have simple divided that Gap variable by a factor of 10.
