Shared Boundary, Geant4

Hello Everyone!

I am looking for a way to create and export a file with the following criteria:

1.) 2 Solids with the same boundary.

ex. 2 concentric cylinders where the surface between them is one and the same.

2.) exported as tessellated mesh with triangular facets.

STL file is an obvious choice in the beginning but this only allowed me to export 1 body at a time where the boundary between the bodies is lost and exporting the two different bodies will create two different boundaries when put together again.

These files will be used in a physics simulation platform called Geant4.

You can have 1 single body with merged boundary (merging out seams between planar faces too)

You can obtain this from part or from an assembly.

You can't have two body with same merged boundary

Hi! If you want solid bodies, the shared boundary concept does not apply. Either the faces and disappear or the faces are distinct and overlapped. There is no way to have a membrane-like face two separate two solids. This can only be done with surface bodies.
