How to maintain BOM column order in drawing?

I have only found two other forum threads on the subject of BOM column order in drawings, but they have not resolved the issue.

I have successfully customized BOM columns in the assembly template. I have added the Width and Length custom columns and have them in the preferred order as shown here:

I repeated the process for the BOM in a drawing template. The columns are in the correct order when I save the drawing template. After creating a new drawing from the template, placing a view, and then opening the BOM, the column order has changed to Length then Width:

I have tried exporting the configuration to an XML and then importing the configuration. Save to a new template, but the incorrect column order persists. I have deleted and re-inserted the columns. Problem persists.

How can I keep the Bill of Materials command BOM column order when creating a new drawing? Be advised, this is not editing the Parts List. That editor column order is correct. This is the Bill of Materials command.

Why is it that right after you post, you find the solution. 🙄

The assembly template BOM column order was correct. Column order had been inadvertently changed in the new assemblies I was testing. After correcting BOM column order in the assemblies, the BOM Column order in the drawing is now being maintained.

Yes, it is a hidden secret. The BOM columns can be configured in the iam template.
