permanent changes to default parts list

How do I make permanent changes to the default parts list to look like the one in this drawing? (Centered text, and part name instead of the part number and drawing number instead of the stock number).

With Styles Editor you can create your own parts lists that have the properties, arrangement and fonts etc you choose.

If you want this to be the default used then you need to set that part list as the standard for your drawing template.

Hi,

It took some struggle as a brand new Inventor user but hey.... I'm getting there.

I finally have my custom, company Parts List created.

The custom iproperties populate in each cell, the column widths are correct and consistent every time I select that Parts List.

Now.. how can change my setup so that the default Parts List is my company parts list ?

(instead of always have to swap out the default for mine)

Actually... . I take it back...

I am still no further ahead than I was.

Whenever I start a new drawing, plunk in a view of an assembly, plunk in a Part List, it STILL doesn't default to my custom Parts List and when I swap it out for my custom Parts List all my column widths are wrong.

Help !!

@Anonymous take a look at this thread. Your answer is half way down. You need to specify the default Parts List in the "Object Defaults" tab on the left.
