Sheet metal loft "collision"

Hello,

I have a problem with a sheet metal part. I need to design a trough with two differently shaped sides (see screenshots)

The problem I encountered is at the edge Bend. It seems like several bending lines cross over each other and inventor cant properly compute this. This leaves me with a part with a hole on one side.

My question is now, is there a way for me to manually adjust the bending lines to not intersect in the corner, or is there a proper approximation function for a situation like this?

Yes, this is normal. Such sheets usually require undercuts.
If you think you can manually manipulate a flat pattern - remember that everything will take its toll on production and the parts will also deviate from the original assumptions.

I understand the need for the undercut at the corner if you want a perfect edge. In my case it would be acceptable to deviate a bit from the original geometry.
If you imagine i cut the red circled part then i would be left with only bending lines that do not cross each other, leaving me without a need for an undercut. This would result in a slightly deviated form on my edge.

It is doable with a simple extrusion cut in the folded model, but it doesn't seem like a proper solution for this.

Is there maybe a way to adjust the lofted flange tool accordingly?

If you don't need a perfect shape, you have a few options:

Leave the item as is and add a note on the drawing about the deformation tolerance.
Remodel the product into an acceptable variant that will not have collisions.
You can create cosmetic bend lines in a flat pattern and then hide unnecessary items in the drawing.
