HELP WITH SPRING MODEL

I'm really struggling with a model for one of my company's W spring designs.

I'm under the impression I need to use a 3D sketch but I'm unfamiliar with using this technique and cant get my head round it.

If anyone could help me with this design it would be much appreciated!

I have attached this exact spring here in the past, but I have no idea how to find the prior thread.

You should mention what version of Inventor you are using (especially when using an very old version 2017).

Im using inventor professional 2020

I would have posted this file back then if I had known you were using 2020.

Most of the spring is from 2D sketches, with a portion from 3D sketch intersection.

Can you post image of your About Inventor to verify what version of Inventor you are using?

Apologies the file was saved from inventor 2017 but my company has since updated to inventor 2020

Hi Jimmy;

Attached is the model of the spring in IV2020 format.

Dimensions are at random. I just didn't want to muck around with the imperial units.

But I hope - the model will give yo a direction to follow.
