Auto Explode Assembly

Hi All,

I am using IV2018. I want to know apart from using ipn for tweaking parts which is bit time consuming for bigger assemblies, does Inventor has option to Auto Explode in the same plane so if you have iso view all parts are visible? Is it avail in newer version? I was going through other threads or pre populated threads when i typed this one that 2020 also has it disabled.

idw has errors sometime when retrieving from ipn if its not updated. Was wondering if iam has its own explode option?

Yup - it was killed off in 2017 when the presentation was overhauled...

Hi Leo,

I was reading through the thread you attached. Apparently you can auto explode in Fusion 360 but if i do that is there a way to bring that view into idw?

Fusion being part of Autodesk there must be compatibility to bring it across?
