I just started using the inverter. and i am learning
but I could not do the extrusion process I wanted. What is the reason for this? please I am waiting for your answers. I'm sending photos to be understood. note: I want to do it this way, I can go to the conclusion with different methods. I know that. but I want to do it that way. is it possibleI cannot use the line obtained by mirroring in extrusionThis is the way I want to get meThis is the way I want to get me

Thank you very much for the information you provide . This is the lack of mirroring command. I think it does not add the points of the space to the mirror. Invertor detects the drawing open in that area. I did it as you said, but it works like that. need to prune the excess.

I guess there is no other way

invertor should improve this command

You've left out a very important piece of information: what version of Inventor are you using??

Things change from release to release (obviously!), and you are showing behavior that appears to be from version 2019 or earlier. Inventor 2020 & 2021 would not have that problem, I think; the profile recognition calculations were overhauled completely for the 2020 version.

To place multiple bearings in holes, the easiest method would be to make the holes in the part a sketch-driven pattern. Now place one bearing in your assembly, using constraints or joints to constrain it to the original hole feature of the plate; use the Component Pattern tool, Associative tab to populate the other holes with bearings.

As in my previous message, please always state what version of Inventor you are using.

Explain what you mean by "work independently of each other". When you use the component pattern, the occurrences in the pattern are identical copies of the original, constrained to the pattern locations. In the case of bearings, how do you expect them to "work"?

However, it is easy to make all the occurrences work independently-- select all but the first occurrence, right click and select Independent. The independent occurrences are moved from elements of the pattern to their own separate entries in the model browser, and are no longer constrained. The process can be reversed, too, for any independent occurrence.

You still haven't told us what version of Inventor you're using.

As you can see in the picture, I get movement from any gear. the shafts in between are connected to the bearings. I want the bearings to reverse when the gears start to move, logically. Since the bearings are associated in the pattern command, they rotate in the opposite of gears. I'm looking for a solution to prevent this. respects

Are your bearings modeled as assemblies, with relative movement between inner and outer race?! I've never heard of such a thing. I've always placed bearings as static parts that have no movement in Inventor, the shaft just spins in the inner race. Why do you need the bearings to move?
