Tube & Pipe will place, at any bend in your route, the elbow that is defined in your active Tube & Pipe style. You can select the default 90 and 45 degree elbow for any rigid pipe style. Once placed, you should be able to replace them with any valid elbow from your Content Center, as long as it is authored as a Tube & Pipe fitting, and does not cause the route to violate any of the rules set up in your Tube & Pipe style.

Hello.

Since we got installed the 2021 Version the routes I am creating within the tube and pipe module are populated automatically. How can I turn off this setting? The "populate route" button is still in the ribbon as usual, but it is greyed out.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, this is a new feature for T&P, set as an option or those who want to see the route auto-generating in order to watch for things such as interferences, etc. You can toggle the visibility of this by selecting the button shown below while in the routing tool, and choosing Display Routes Only. The pipe will still be auto-generating, but all you will see is the sketch lines, until you change back to Display All Objects.

@CGBenner , ok, this is of course a possibility.

One more thing. How can I delete elbows Inventor added automatically to my pipe when populating? I get an error when trying to replace this elbows with my own. Thought about deleting them and placing my own as a work-around as I could not sort out the error, see below.

"Can't find a conduit or fitting in the Content Center. Please check your Content Center configuration to make sure all required libraries are present."
