Do you have a dim style for 1 decimal place? If so, you can use the selection filter called "Select all Inventor Dimensions" then change them to the new dim style. If not, then you will need to edit the current dim style to be a single digit.

Hello,

I am building a 2D drawing with many dimensions in Autodesk Inventor 2020. I already annotate all of the dimensions. However, I would like to change the format of the number from 2 decimal places to 1. I would like to override the current number format, instead of having to do all the annotations over again. Can anyone help me?

I thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Hugo Silva

Two thoughts:

1) Edit the underlying dimension style

Manage>Styles Editor>Dimension Style>(Select Style)>Units>Linear>Precision> (Choose single digit)

or

2) Edit one dimension, then use Copy Properties to apply to the rest of the dimensions

Hi! On top of what Todd and Brad mentioned, you can also automate the process if you are using Styles Library. You can simply make the change in the style and save it to the Styles Library. Then use Batch Update tool to update the document style based on the latest style in the library. Or, you simply go to Manage -> Standard and Styles -> Update for each drawing.

Many thanks!
