Ok I have been following along for a long time now and I am not at all impressed with the 2021 release of inventor its worse then it was in 2012!.......Where's the passion? It looks terrible out of the box, it makes surfaces by default with no option in revolve to make it solid. Steps backwards for sure...Where the hell is the the AI design assistance? Wheres all the cool stuff, this program is how much??? I like free onshape better at this point. For this level I expect way way more. Stop pushing out new versions every year, only publish when you got something to publish geeze. Did I mention I love not being the corporate world. Thanks cheers.

This one will be an easy one to diagnose - you browser indicates the issue.

Turn on constraint visibility and DoF visibility.

Welcome to the forums! We're happy you're here, and welcome your feedback. However, just saying you don't like the release doesn't really offer anything constructive for the Inventor team to look into. You mentioned one specific problem you are having, which I believe @JDMather has tried to address. Are there other specific things you can tell us about, or problems you have encountered?

Consider signing up for the Inventor Feedback/Beta program, where you can talk directly to the team that designs the new releases. That way you can see what they are working on, and test it... and give your feedback before it is released. Just a thought.

I am sorry I am confused. Based on the screenshot, it looks like you have an open profile, which does not form a closed profile. As a result, the default output type is surface. If you extrude the same profile, does it become a surface too?
