Hi! I suspect you have projected some edges from Part A to a sketch in Part B. After the adaptive relationship was established, Part A was modified in a way that the project source edges no longer exist. The adaptive sketch geometry in Part B is no longer associative to the edges in Part A.

Many thanks!

It means you have a part referencing another part and they aren't "talking to each other" anymore. This could happen if you delete a part that was projected, update geometries that were projected, replace parts that were referenced, etc. What did you do just before this error occurred? The answer to this will likely lead down the right path

How should i fix this problem ? Will finding the associated sketch and unchecking the associativity fix the issue ?

Assuming it was a problem caused because of a projected geometry, which I deleted later.

Hi! It depends. If the source geometry no longer exists, you will need to delete the existing unassociative sketch geometry and then project it again. There isn't a workflow to "relink" the geometry.

Please feel free to share an example that exhibits the behavior. Forum experts can help take a look.

Many thanks!

Do you mean.

Find the sketches in "Magenta" and remove the adaptivity ?
