Adding groups of folders to Task Scheduler

As the title. I have lots of files to migrate but have to selectively add folders as I can only migrate small batches at a time. This issue is that I cannot seem to add groups of folders when using add folder. I have to add one folder then go back into add folder, select one folder and so on. This is entirely impractical. Is there a methid by which when I select add folder I can choose multiple folders?

You can select one folder and then Shift+Select to select multiple folders if you are selecting folders from Vault. The interface is a little finicky because when you select your first folder and then Shift+select your last folder it will unselect the first folder. This only works with Shift, you cannot Ctrl+select folders, but you can select a range of folders and use Ctrl+select to deselect the ones you don't want. This again is finicky because each time you deselect a folder it will also deselect the last folder in your range.

If you are not in vault then you have to select one at a time, but you could move multiple folders into a single folder, migrate that folder, then move them back out.

At present we are using a third party ADMS system and over the last few months I have been migration and import testing into Vault Basic. Firstly to prove proof of concept of data import into AD Vault and also 'sell' Autodesk Vault to our Engineering Dept and to get buy in from senior staff. Both have went well so much so that we are moving to Vault Pro in middle of Q4.

Thanks for clarifying as I recall that I could select multiple groups of folders when using the Task Scheduler in conjunction with Autodesk vault but not so when testing migration on our live engineering (third party ADMS) data.

What I ended up doing yesterday was as you said move groups of files outside the main data folder and migrate, purge and then update solely the ipt files. Once processed I copied the processed ipts back over to the live data. I assumed as best as I can tell that this is 'safe' as it wont cause any internal links to update?

Is there a safe way to approach migration, purge and updating of the assembly files without updating internal file references to incorrect folders?
