It came in aligned to the original coordinate system and i want to align it with the base planes /axes of the New part file.&nbsp; The&nbsp; direct edit tool would seem like the obvious choice but you do not seem to be able to force alignment of an edge to an axes with a command , you can only enter a degree of rotation. Since the part is out of alignment with all 3 base planes that isnt very helpful .
