Good afternoon. I have been trying to create a wing in inventor by lofting different airfoils together. To create each airfoil i import some coordinates from excel and join the points with lines. The shape looks good but the problem arises when lofting. When I loft two airfoils together, some lines appear on top of the surface connecting dots between different airfoils together. Is there a way to prevent this from happening (just lofting outer surface without lines appearing? Thank you very much.

My advice use spilne for your loops, not lines.

Thank you very much. I already tried using spline. However, when I use it, for some reason it doesn’t allow me to extrude it as it tells me it is an open loop and that there is a redundant point. I already mentioned this issue in a previous post which is at the top of the unread posts as of now.

That was really useful. Thank you very much. One last question, if I wanted to make the loft a particular thickness and make the insides hollow, what tool or option should I use?
