Retrieve Model annotations 3D Annotation Design view

My aim is to pull the model annotation into drawing.

I have created a .iam with different "View Representations" for "Annotate" from the assembly level.

I placed the assembly with required "Design View" but while i was trying to use "Retrieve Model annotations -3D Annotation" option it has only Master view, in that drop down i am not able to find New Design views which have created.

Hi!

In assembly, you just pick an assembly view direction, and the tool will give you all dimensions on that view direction.

Retrieving 3D annotations in assemblies relies on the view direction (top, front, left, etc), not on "view representations".

Besides that, you can only select the view representation as a filter only (when using the retrieve tool) on "Part only" drawings.

Hi! You may want to edit the base view and check "Associative" box next to the Design View drop down. If it still does not work, please share the files here. It should work.

By locking the view rep in assembly i have resolved this issue.
