multiple surfaces to solid via thicken tool

I can see how it would be possible to turn each of the suraces included in this model in to a solid one by one using the thicken tool but is there any way I can select and change them all at once?

This can't be done with a single step. IMO, best way is copying the remaining composite to CE (Construction environment). In CE, all faces should be unstitched, checked for quality, some boundary patches must be added, and after that new solids can be stitched one after another.

That's very helpful thankyou. A separate question perhaps but do you know how to make use of the attached knot file? I was hoping I could use it to tie a seat cushion I've free modeeled to the baxk of a chair....

Have just noticed that the spokes are missing from your part file? I've also encountered error messages when trying to direct edit it and uniformly rescale it to 0.2 of the current size. Can you help at all?

Spokes are missing, because they were not present in any way in the initial kids bike.ipt.

Scaling can be done easily as derived part, but scale factor 0.2 is not enough.

Knot? I need a deeper look at it. Perhaps I'll come back later.

I've seen it already in the other thread, that I've mentioned above. But most of the geometry is placed in the multi-body IPT, many other IAM files are empty or minor important.

Scaling an IAM is not easy. All parametric features must be scaled for themselves with the same factor, as well with linear constraints. I think, iLogic or VBA can help. But in this special case, most of the geometry is already in a single file; therefore no real benefit with assembly-level scaling.

Knot: I've used the same basic sketches as in your file, but the result seems to be garbage.
