Help! error 1603

Hi everyone!

After a windows refresh I cant install inventor anymore.

Ive tried the installer, browser download. 2020 2021 and 2022 nothing seems to work.

Ive uninstalled the C++ and installed them again.

Could someone help me?!

I use it for my school and I have some deadlines coming up.

Thanks, I deleted all the files manually. Now I get this message:

@Anonymous What version are you using at school? Inventor is NOT backwards compatible and you need to use the same version your school is using if you expect the ability to transfer files back and forth between home and school computers.

Beyond that lets start by having you clean out your temp folder.

On the Start menu (Windows), click Run.
In the Run dialog box, enter %TEMP%. Click OK.
In the Temp folder, press CTRL+A to select all the files and folders contained in the Temp directory. Right-click the selection. Click Delete.

Check in your installed programs and delete any versions of "Autodesk Design Review" if installed.

Then delete anything in the C:/Autodesk folder

Then please check how much free space there is on your C drive and report back here with an update.

Then restart your computer..

Then try to install again using the "Install Now" method and ensure you are installing the same version your school is using.

I use Inventor 2020 mostly. There is 100 GB free. Ive now uninstalled everything again and deleted the %temp% directory. I will try to install inventor 2020 now.

@Anonymous please provide us with the installation log file or check it out to see if you can identify the error information contained in it

Ive got a new error. Error 1712 I downloaded the licencing program, but It didn't have any effect.

Thr problem is fixed.

After manually removing everything autodesk related on my pc. And removing the adsk service in the system32 directory. And removing the windows.old filed. I was able to install inventor 2020.

I also needed to reinstall the C++ programs.
