      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, How can I Cut this extended beams in assembly mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried the copy objects and split with a work plane and nothing worked as I expected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you help me?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi! I believe you are trying to make each instance of the same part adaptive (Copy Objects or Cross-Part Project). It is not going to work. Inventor adaptive part can only be adaptive within one assembly. Also, only one instance can be adaptive. For your case, I think those rods need to be separate parts if you want them to be adaptive. Use Copy Components to create the parts (as different ipt files). After that, each can be adaptive.&lt;/P&gt;
