Revit 3D grids to Inventor

From my understanding Revit 2022 makes it possible to show grids in 3D views. I've been looking for a way to get the grids from Revit into Inventor for a while now so I'm hoping this will make it a lot easier.

If I import a 3D view with 3D grids from Revit into Inventor, would the grids show in Inventor?

Or if not, would it be possible to export the 3D view from Revit to AutoCAD and then import this into Inventor, would this make the grids visible in Inventor?

I'm desperately looking for a way to do this without having to start from scratch and have the risk of the grid not being exactly the same as it is in Revit.

Hi! Unfortunately, I am not aware of a workflow to do that. Currently, the interoperability between Inventor and Revit is mainly geometry-only.

I'm actually surprised by that, it didn't seem to be anything extraordinary to me but I must be trying to do something that not a lot of people want to do. Do you have any knowledge of future plans for this or should I try posting on the idea's forum?

Hi John,

I was wondering if grid and levels import is now possible with the latest version of Inventor? Bringing Revit geometry is not very practical when it comes to large complex Revit models.
