topic Contour Flange in Inventor Forum

Can someone explain why Im unable to select the sketch when using contour flange? Attached is the file I am using.

When I click "contour flange" it only allows me to select part of the sketch and not the entire thing and won't allow me to select all of it. Thanks in advance

How about a JPEG so all can get in on the action??

Hi

Sketch lacks continuity. Curves must be tangent.

Ps. Each sketch should be fully dimensioned.

Curves don't have to be tangent because the Contour Flange tool supplies the bend when transitioning around a sharp corner. But in this case, there is a tiny, possible zero length line at the point where the contour flange stops. Delete that little line (window select is the easiest), then edit the Contour Flange feature and re-select the profile:

By the way, even for quick example parts it is important to constrain your sketches. It shows that you know what you're doing in Inventor, and also that you've eliminated poor/missing constraints as the source of your issue.
