Hi Inventor Experts,

I am not sure if this is the case with Inventor. When I use Half Section View command under View Tab in Part Mode, Inventor is not showing the Section Hatch Lines. Please have a look on the attached Inventor Part File and Screenshots. It does show the Half Section View but without the Hatch Lines.

NOTE: Just letting you know , I am not talking about the Half Section View in Drawing Mode.

Inventor Version Used: Inventor Professional 2021.3.1

Regards

Gurpreet

Hi! Do you want to see the 2D hatch pattern in 3D model? I don't think it is supported. The closest thing I can think of is to create shaded section view in the drawing.

Many thanks!

Just letting you know I am also a Fusion 360 user and it does offer the Hatch Lines in Part Mode when I use the Half section view.

Note: I already have hatch lines when I create the Section view in Drawing mode in Inventor.
