PROBLEM WITH WELDING

HELLO EVERYONE,
I'M TRYING TO WELD THE PARTS, BUT I'M UNSUCCESSFUL, BECAUSE ANY MEASURES I PUT, DOESN'T WORK.
CAN ANYONE KNOW IF I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG OR IS IT BUG?

Are these solids? Surfaces?
Can you share the assembly and parts here?

Have you tried one of the other options, like cosmetic weld?

Hi @ferreirahomeoffice

Unfortunately, it's a trial and error method of finding the right weld values to make it succeed. And in some cases, due to the complexity of the intersection between the 2 components, the weld may fail or only be created partially.

If it doesnt work for any value, it could be a problem due to the complexity of the intersection between the 2 components. In those impossible cases, a cosmetic weld would work as long as you are able to find an edge/loop at the intersection.

I tried a simple cyl-cyl intersection for your reference - see attached picture - you could try posting your dataset here, we can take a look. Please also include which version of Inventor you are using.

@ferreirahomeoffice I see that they dont actually intersect each other but rather have a surface contact. That weld looks neat.
