Unable to intialize adlm. Error Code: <-104>

I've error 104 sometimes when open Autocad LT 2017, already tried to do the steps in the kb:

but nothing changed.

After some restart of flexnet service autocad starts normally.

Also i already tried to unistall everything and do a fresh install but nothing changed to.

What's next??

To add maybe try the following to help:

Clean uninstall of all Autodesk products causing this issue.
Apply download from the virtual agent.

Hello @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear you are having an issue. This information will help you manually activate.

Please try running through the following steps:

Delete the .data file and allow the software to Auto-Activate.
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data_backup.001
You may need to manually activate the software.
If the above doesn't help, rename "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Macrovision Shared" folder and reinstall your Autodesk software.

Note: This error could also be caused when LMU.exe is not running. You can start LMU.exe manually by double-clicking the file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdLM\ and then the version-specific R folder (e.g. R11). You may also need to run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Macrovision Shared\FlexNet Publisher\FNPLicenseingService64.exe file so that FlexNet Licensing Service 64 was started.

as i already written, i already did all of this..unistanstall and clean install and the things on the KB.

When autocad open normally, it says it's activated.

REALLY annoying!!

Sorry to hear that running through these steps didn't work for you. Can you please provide more information like a screenshot or log file for the product located here C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm.

Hello @Anonymous,

Sorry for the frustration, I reviewed you're log and it seems that the Licensing Manager is not started and can't pull a license.

- Reboot the computer

- Make sure you have an updated graphics card driver

- Operating System latest update

- Check security settings malware or firewall issue

- Make sure you have access to folder containing the License File

Setup License Manager Service

Locate Lmtools/License Manager
Verify License File, MAC address & HostID with Lmtools System Settings Tab

Config Service Tab > Make sure files are pathed correctly (lmgrd.exe, Lic. File.lic, Debug.log) > Save Service button
Start/Stop/Reread Tab > Select FlexNet Service (should only be 1 service) > Check Box Force Server Shutdown > Select Stop Server Button > Uncheck Box Force Server Shutdown > Start Server > Server Start Successful. (should appear below)
