Activating Revit Mep 2016

Hey,

my trial on revit mep 2016 is ending in a few days. Today i purchased a license.

How can i now get my serial number for 2016 version. In the management i see following comment "Serial numbers will be available here after you download" but i don't need the 2017 version just my license for 2016.

How does this work now?

Hi @jonathan.deman,

You should receive an e-mail with the serial number and product key of your purchased Revit mep. Let us know if you don't receive it.

i only got an email with 'Your Autodesk order is complete ' but no codes...

Hello @jonathan.deman,

Thank you for being a part of the community. To access your serial # & product key sign-in to your Autodesk Account and locate the product you are trying to receive a serial # and product key for.

Sign in to your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com.
Locate the software you wish to download in the list of Products & Services. Click the arrow next to the product name to expand the product details tray.
Click Downloads to initiate a download and see the serial number in the download window.

this is what i see

and if i click download on 2016- download i get autodesk revit/ revit structure/ revit mep/ revit architecture

i need the mep but pushing on install now gives no action ...

Are you saying you have everything now but having issues installing? If so don't use your account to install your product....

Download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

If you want the full recommended installation steps, click on the installation link in my signature.

However if the installation does fail using this method, please post your installation log file here so we can review it. Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #. Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Good luck on your installation and report back on your progress.

Update: Disregard my statement about images and serial numberso. I finally was able to see a good image of what you provided.

but now with a refresh of my autodesk account i see the codes.

Everything works fine now.
