      <title>Application has stopped working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So, my work station installed Autocad and Revit 2017 last&amp;nbsp;Friday(1.27.2017)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today,&amp;nbsp;none of the program can run. Every time I run the any autodesk suite program, it showed "First run initializing..." it froze and message popped up&amp;nbsp;"AutoCAD Application has stopped working"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last windows &amp;nbsp;update on 1.24.17, and worked fine until 1.27.17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Revit 2015, CAD 2015, 3ds Max 2015 all worked on Friday after installation of 2017.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then today neither my 2015 suite nor 2017 suite could run.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This error log generated under temp folder&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;E r r o r o p e n i n g H K L M \ S o f t w a r e \ A u t o d e s k \ A u t o C A D \ R 2 0 . 0 \ A C A D - E 0 0 6 : 4 0 9 \ P r o f i l e s&lt;BR /&gt;E r r o r o p e n i n g H K L M \ S o f t w a r e \ A u t o d e s k \ A u t o C A D \ R 2 0 . 0 \ A C A D - E 0 3 0 : 4 0 9 \ P r o f i l e s&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;D o n e !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Will provide any information that would help solving this issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks and appreciated&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Welcome back to the community.&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://forums.autodesk.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt; It seems the program is having a hard time locating the registries. Please locate the Registry Editor by going to the "Windows Start" icon &amp;gt; type in Search "regedit" &amp;gt; locate the folders you mentioned&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;right click&lt;/SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;you have listed and make sure you have " full control permissions"&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please keep us posted on the progress.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you very much for your help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, I am not able to locate E030:409.&lt;BR /&gt;Anyhow, I checked the box to allow full control, yet, same issue occurs.&lt;BR /&gt;(I am usin the administrator account to login windows, allowed full control for all users)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;More about the error log, It does not show up everytime the program crashed. I am trying to re-install every program but still, no luck yet.&lt;BR /&gt;It is weird because&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;York&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>It's weird because it worked just fine on Friday (I did reboot my PC on Friday)&lt;BR /&gt;The log was generate only after CAD 2015 crashed. Other programs and other versions did not create any log so it is near impossible for me to describe what happens.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

&lt;DIV class="myscreencast-iframe iframe-container active-myscreencast"&gt;There could be a number of reasons for this behavior. First, try clearing your temp folder then reset AutoCAD back to defaults as shown in this video.&lt;/DIV&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you very much.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just cleaned up the temp file as shown in the video. However, the reset part is missing or really quick in the video (1:19 - 1:20)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have already reinstalled the program. I also tried "reset to default" from the start menu.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks again&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your response.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I actually called the technical support from the retailer where we bought the license and had them remote control my work station.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, we were not able to fix it. At last, I just decided to reinstall the windows OS.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you very much and appreciated the effort.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
