Good morning from the UK, can I install Windows 11 safely for my Inventor 2018 to work seamlessly?

Or am I better to purchase a new PC?

Hi!

If it's an upgrade from a version of Windows that worked fine with Inv2018, Inventor will likely still work fine.

If you Install Inv2018 in windows 11(without upgrading from previous windows), you will probably find minor issues. Despite version 2018 being still in support until March, You have to consider that Inventor 2018 was designed for windows 8.1 or windows 10.

If you want to upgrade to windows 11, Probably the best move is to update Inventor instead of a new PC....
