To whom it may concern,

Some of my students are getting different issues once they try to run the Energy Analysis within Revit. Sometimes the weather station does not show up or there is a window stating that the License is not supported (althought it is a Student License). Any comments or suggestions will be highly appreciated!

Kind regards,

José Luis Bermúdez Alcocer, Ph.D., M.Arch., B.Arch.

Can you please provide a screenshot of the license error you see and let us know exactly when this happens.

It seems the product is up & running but when you try using the tool Energy Simulation it causes an issue?

Not sure what version you are running but I looked into this further and I discovered that Autodesk is aware that customers with education licenses are unable to access Energy Simulation with older products this was a known issue.

This error is related to a student account issue it has been fixed with Revit 2017.1 and newer, although older versions will still have the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience & thank you for posting.
