AutoCAD LT 2018.0.2 Update Error

Hello,

Every time I try to install this update, I get an error saying, "Fatal error during installation." Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Get your update from your accounts program updates page instead https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/all and see if that helps solve the problem.

Post that installation log file if it also fails.

I have the same issue. I starts to install then the error pops up.

Time for some more info.

What O/S? All O/S updates applied?

Have you tried to run a Repair on your AutoCAD LT before executing the update?

Have you tried logging in as a different user and running the update?

Are you installing this update through your Desktop App? If so did you follow @pendean information?

I'm checking to see if there is something blocking me through the firewall with our IT Company. I'll get back to you.

Hello @Anonymous,

As suggested by our awesome members above, locate the update from the Autodesk account & check the systems environment to make sure you meet the requirements for the update & there is no 3rd party software interrupting the update, your IT department should be able to help review this for you as well.
