Autodesk programs have a number of prerequisites that have to be installed first (think of these like Lego bricks - it's easier to start with premade bricks than having to build those too). The installers come with these prepackaged, but it's typical for a computer that is newer than the software to have newer versions of these already installed. For safety purposes these cannot be overwritten with old versions (lest they mess up with the programs which depend on the newer version). There's a couple of ways around this.

You can track down the prerequisites which are getting in the way; typically this is the dotNET Framework and C++ "redist" packages. Take note of the versions already installed and uninstall them, then install your software. Then update the prerequisites to at least the version you removed.

Another option is to unpack the installer and adjust the Setup.ini file to skip checking/installing the perquisites. This is easiest if you create a deployment, which is probably a good idea even without all this mucking about, as it will make disaster recovery easier (literally, run the deployment and you're back to the initial state).

Both of these are somewhat advanced, so if you aren't comfortable mucking around in your computer find a comuter-savvy friend and offer some pizza & beer in exchange for help.

Update: Where's your "E" drive located? On the network or machine? If you have the room relocated the installer to the "C" drive.
