&lt;P&gt;Sorry about this. Please let us know what other Autodesk products you have installed &amp;amp; their versions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This issue can be solved a number of different ways try :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure to sign-in, install with Windows Administrator &amp;amp; launch with Administrator permissions (right- click &amp;amp; click "Run as Administrator") &amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/license-reset-change-license-type-or-serial-number/td-p/7010543" target="_blank"&gt;License Reset&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of the software to make sure the licensing is activated properly then test by launching the program&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/clean-uninstall" target="_blank"&gt;Clean Uninstall&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of the program use&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed" target="_blank"&gt;MSfixitTool&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to complete the uninstall&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/download/prepare-system" target="_blank"&gt;Prepare&amp;nbsp;to&amp;nbsp;Download&amp;nbsp;&amp;amp; Install&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Then install the programs in ascending&amp;nbsp;order, so AutoCAD 2016 &amp;amp; Revit 2016 then AutoCAD 2017 &amp;amp; Revit 2017&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/download/about-download-methods/browser-download-method-for-autodesk-account" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10.5pt;"&gt;Using the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <title>license error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I downloaded AutoCad Architecture the other night and once the installation finished I attempted to open the program, but got a license error. I am using a autodesk student account. The error reads: "The license manager is not functioning or is improperly installed. AutoCad will shut down now." I have Revit on this computer as well and i used revit all through the last year, but it also is now saying the same message. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Did you mean to attach an image?&amp;nbsp; Are you using your email system to reply?&amp;nbsp; If so don't..&amp;nbsp; Come back to the forums and post using the provided tools.&lt;/P&gt;
