Safe to delete update.exe files after update is complete?

I currently have both Maya and Inventor installed and recently updated both programs. When using the Autodesk Desktop App to update them, the application downloaded files called "Autodesk_Maya_2017_Update4_x64.exe" and "Inventor2017_R4.exe"(I have included a picture below). Both updates installed properly and the programs are up to date and working fine. I am wondering if it is safe to delete these files since they total to about a gigabyte of space on my drive that I would like to free up. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Yes it is safe to delete downloaded update.exe files. But it something happens to your machine you will need to download them again..
