    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have now retried the installation as a direct install from the Autodesk website and via the Virtual Agent. Both give exactly the same error at the same point of the installation. Please can someone assist me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Revit 2018 Installation failed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need help to get Autodesk Revit 2018 installed. I have tried from the media kit and from a download. Both give the same result. When it gets to &lt;EM&gt;"Autodesk License Service Certificate"&lt;/EM&gt; it fails with the following message:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 26352"&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have 2 seats of Revit and used the same download to install on the other machine with no problems. The machine we are having problems with did have Autodesk Building Design Suite on previously, but under different Autodesk subscription information. In desperation, I have uninstalled all Autodesk products and deleted Autodesk from the registry. I have also tried to remove .Net Framework and let the Revit installation do a new install. Nothing is working and I am getting really frustrated as I cannot do any work until Revit is re-installed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have attached the Setup log from my last attempt. At the point of failure, the log says: &lt;EM&gt;"Install Autodesk License Service Certificate Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603"&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OS is Windows 10. Please can someone help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

This error is not specific to any particular Autodesk product, but tends to be specific to the system on which you are installing on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Conduct a &lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/clean-uninstall" target="_blank"&gt;Clean Uninstall&lt;/A&gt; of the program use &lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed" target="_blank"&gt;MSfixitTool&lt;/A&gt; to complete the uninstall&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Log in as an Administrator&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;

I tried as per the article - same problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You asked about the installation method - I downloaded the version from the Autodesk website using the Autodesk Download manager and am running the installation from a folder on my C: drive. The exact download worked on another machine with no issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suspect that is has something to do with either a key or certificate which is stored somewhere that is causing a problem. The last time I installed Autodesk software on this machine, I was working for a different division of the company I am now as each division has there own software and licenses. Could this be an issue?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will try again tomorrow from the office using the Vitual Assistant.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
