So i have bought a laptop with 1 SSD disk on which i had my autocad 2023 version. Then bought another SSD disk and moved the cad files over to the newer one,and couldn't launch any cad program after that.I have tried unistalling and installing 4 different versions still couldn't run any of them.

Hi @gfac_5317

Have you seen the following AKN article about this:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Unable-to-run-AutoCAD-when-opening-AutoCAD.html

I'd look at the common causes:

Causes:

Missing Windows operating system (OS) updates.

Corrupt .NET Framework.

Corrupted Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime component.

Corrupted installation of AutoCAD product.

Corrupt Windows User profile

Try reinstalling the Web2view first

Corrupted Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime component

For Windows 10:

In Control Panel, uninstall the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime component.

Download and install the latest version of the component from Microsoft:

WebView2 Consumer - Microsoft Edge Developer

Launch AutoCAD.

For:

This got me thinking.

Why not download and install AutoCAD fully from the start? Likely you have left over data ..

Have you tried the Microsoft FixIt tool?

Did a clean install reinstall and used the Fix It tool?
