Welcome to the community. Your installation is simply failing due to the method you're using..

There's a couple of preferred methods you should use to properly download and install your Autodesk product (onto your machine).

However prior to downloading and installing, the following is recommended.

1. Make sure the product you are downloading is supported under the hardware and operating system you currently have. Legacy versions not officially supported by Autodesk under Windows 10 (or any other Windows version) may still be able to be installed and launched. However these legacy versions may not fully function properly or fail to work in the future. Caution about installing legacy versions on unsupported operating system since Autodesk will most likely not support these legacy versions on newer operating systems

2. Although an optional step, you still may want to confirm your current hardware will run the Autodesk product you're trying to install. Check your hardware using the Autodesk Pre-Requisite Checker.

3. Clean out your personal temp (%temp%) folder. You may not be able to delete all the files and folders that are located here, but delete as many as possible and skip those files/folders that are unable to be deleted.

4. Ensure that you have full admin rights to your machine.

5. Set Windows UAC to never notify

6. If possible disable your Anti-Virus/Malware scanning utilities

7. The download should happen over a hard wired connection (instead of WIFI) to your router or internet connection. But if WIFI is your only option, please beware the download may be slower and/or lead to corrupted downloaded files.

Method #1 (Preferred method) - Autodesk Virtual Agent: Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.

Autodesk Virtual Agent Guidelines

Does not contain all products offered by Autodesk
Current version and only those versions that are part of the 3 legacy version guideline.
Only provided in the English language.

Method #2 - Browser download method - Autodesk Account:

Use Firefox or Chrome over IE (Internet Explorer) or Edge
Depending on your browser settings, make sure to disable your pop-up blocker.
Access your Autodesk Account (and sign in)
Select the Management link at the top of your account.
Locate your product in your Autodesk Account and expand/select it for download.
Define the product year, its platform (OS), and the language requirements that you need. At this point do not use the "Install Now" option. Under the "Install Now" button is the "View All" link. Expand it and select the option "Browser Download".
Take note of the number of parts that are required to be downloaded for your product.
If the Autodesk product you are trying to download is only presented with the "Install Now" option (meaning "View All" is not present), change the language type to include all languages (in order to see the "Browser Download" method).

8. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. This means, save each part to your hard drive and do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.

9. Navigate to the location where you downloaded these parts and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download). No need to extract any of the others parts that have been downloaded for your Autodesk product.

10. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk. . Although you are permitted to change the location of the extraction, its recommended to leave the location as is.

If the extraction fails to start or it fails at some point while extracting, it could mean the following:

Trying to extract before all parts are fully downloaded.
Disable your Anti-virus application
Make sure the parts that were downloaded are the correct file size.
Make sure you have downloaded the parts to a local drive and the location is not buried in sub-folders.
Disconnect from the network/internet/router
May have to right mouse click on part 1 and select to run as an administrator
Perhaps you have limited disk space and there's not enough free space for this extraction. Ensure you have enough free disk space.
If none of these suggestions resolve the issue, download the parts again, download to another machine or try to download using a different Windows account.

11. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start. Remember there's no need to extract any other parts that may have been downloaded.

12. Follow the installation steps for your product. At this point you could cancel the installation or create a deployment.
