topic Building Design Suite Ultimate 2017 network licensing issue in Installation & Licensing Forum

I am installing Building Design Suite Ultimate 2017 on an image for a PLTW (project lead the way) school district. I install it, license it and everything works fine. I deploy the image and then I am unable to open any of the software without opening AutoCAD 2017 first (for example, any domain user cannot open Inventor before opening AutoCAD,) It asks fro the licensing server but when you enter the information it kicks it back to the previous screen and does not work. This happens for every single domain user to log in to the machine. Is this normal for the Building Design Suite Ultimate package?

@Anonymous

For the 2017 (and 2018) product line, the licensing aspect has changed.

If you look here C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\<Product_Key>_2017.0.0.F [<Product Key> is the product key of the application you have] do you see a LGS.data and a LICPATH.LIC file in there?
