If your IT doesn’t allow the updates then you need to convince them these updates are needed

Autodesk is the only that can sign the updates you can’t really do anything about this part

If you want them signed (I agree they should be) you need to contact Autodesk directly.

Curious have you tried the new Autodesk Access taking place of ADA?

I've got Autodesk Access at home where updates work great but as our IT is blocking unsigned updates I can't get it at work.

As an IT admin myself, they should be able to 1. Make an exception and/or install for you or 2. Temporarily disable the restriction for you. If they do not, they are lazy or incompetent.

But also as an IT admin, I always ask if you actually need the update? Does it fix a known problem that you are having or provide additional features that you do not have? Or are you updating simply for the sake of updating? If it is the latter, I generally do not recommend nor approve of such updates. I live by the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" mantra.

I wasn't trying to get approval as I always read about updates to make sure we need them. Most are for foreign languages or countries. Majority of the rest are for things we don't use.

Someone from our IT has been working with me to try and stop the auto-updates that have generated the constant popups from our security software that have me unable to work right now. She's searching for an answer. If you have any suggestions for our IT folk let me know.

If all you want to do is stop the update feature, then uninstall the Autodesk Desktop App.

We use Ivanti to protect all our PC's and servers. Uninstalling and reinstalling it on my PC seems to have fixed the issue, I'm back to work. While our local hospital and city have had serious issues with ransomware and viruses our county has never had a serious issue. While IT's had to uninstall and reinstall it for me 3 times in as many years for various issues with my PC the protection it provides is more than worth the occasional times it been overprotective.

Thanks for the suggestions though.
