Cannot activate HSM Ultimate

Dear Mr/Mrs,

Yesterday I've installed the "Inventor HSM Ultimate 2018.2.1 Update" and after this I cannot use the HSM part of the software anymore.

When I start Inventor, it comes up with the license dialog box, and when I press "Enter a serial number" the software comes up with a messagebox saying "Unable to activate license. Addin initialization aborted"

Please help, this is a big problem I have a lot of CAM work that has to be programmed today.

I just installed mine and have no issues. Because I'm not assuming, do you have a license for HSM Ultimate or HSM Premium? When you install there's an option to install HSM Prem or HSM Ultimate..

Hi Marc,

I have HSM Ultimate, but the only way I could resolve the problem was to
de-install the software and reinstall it. Now it’s working again.

Also tried removing the c:\ProgramData\Flexnet\adsk* files but that didn’t
help.
