AutoCAD Architecture student - institution

Hi!

I was going to download the student version of AutoCAD Architecture but had to create an account first, one of the questions was which school I go to, and since mine wasn't listed I had to add my educational institution but the two only options of schools was our Swedish versions of college and univeristy. The problem is that I go to high school (I'm 17), but with focus on environment and architecture and I was going to use AutoCAD at home to practice since that is one of the courses I take. My question is now if it's possible for me to download it anyway or do I have to wait a couple of years until I'm in college?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Any student (age 13 or older) attending a qualified educational institution can access the free Autodesk software that's present on the Autodesk Educational site. If your school is not listed that's fine. It will add it to the database when you put it in.

Okay, but I don’t go to college and that was to only option when you were adding your school.. Do I just say it’s a college when it’s not?

Just type in your school name. It will just add it to the database. No need to lie about where you go..

While AutoCAD knowledge is still important, you should be spending the majority of your time learning Revit. That's the predominant Autodesk software in the field.
