&lt;P&gt;I would also clean out the %temp% folder too. It's OK if everything doesn't get deleted, we want to get as much as possible. Turn ? off the UAC / Firewall / Anti-Virus&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Did you by chance maybe picked the 32bit version?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had my Autodesk Desktop App pop up with the chance to install Autocad 2019 this morning. I duly clicked the link and was met with 'Cannot install this product on the current operating system. Please read system requirements for details'. &lt;P&gt;First thing is..&amp;nbsp; Don't use the DESKOP APP to update.&amp;nbsp; That interface is just bloatware..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There's a couple of ways to properly download and install your Autodesk product to your machine.&amp;nbsp; Please review this &lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/article/113466" target="_blank"&gt;article&lt;/A&gt; and the solution it provides.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the installation does fail using the preferred methods, please post your &lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Location-of-the-log-files-generated-by-the-installation-of-an-Autodesk-product.html" target="_blank"&gt;installation log&lt;/A&gt; file here so we can review it.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Posting info:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Sometimes the installation log file contains the serial # that was assigned to you.&amp;nbsp; Open your log file using Windows Notepad and perform a search on "/SN".&amp;nbsp; Depending on the number of installation attempts, your serial # may be located throughout the log file.&amp;nbsp; If present, remove or "X" out your serial # prior to posting.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

I used IE, UAC off, AV software disabled, temp directory cleared out. &lt;P&gt;At this point this will tell me you don't have all the crucial Windows updates or your OS is messed up.&amp;nbsp; I would look to make sure you have all the required Windows updates.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
