AutoCADLT2016 Fatal Error after Windows11 Update

I've been running LT 2016 for the last few years with no issues, even after my PC updated from Windows 10 to 11. I left LT running last night and locked my PC, but returned this morning to find that the computer had done another update. Now I get a Fatal Error every time I try to open LT.

0x7ffcb51a0005 is the code, and these two files are mentioned in the error.

c:\program files\autodesk\autocad lt 2016\acismobj20.dbx

c:\program files\autodesk\autocad lt 2016\acsceneoe.dbx

After searching this quite a bit, I see LT 2016 is not supported on Windows 11, but for some reason it worked fine for several months after the original 11 update. Is there a way to undo or fix this, or am I now stuck upgrading?

google on how to uninstall windows updates

nothing Autodesk will do since windows 11 isn't supported for this version of Autocad
