Custom Install remove custom Revit.ini file from install

I thought I was going to need a custom Revit.ini file for my deployments of Revit 2024. Well, I now do not need them and I can't seem to find a way to remove the file. Is there a way to remove it without having to recreate the deployment?

Also, On the same custom .ini file, once selected for 2024 it also populated into my 2023, 2022 and 2021 deployments. Anyone else see this?

Why can't you just delete it or make it an empty file?

Modifying your deployment would be the fastest way to resolve your issue though.

There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the file, once added. Creating a duplicate of the deployment settings will copy the revit.ini as well. You either have to recreate the deployment settings or add a functioning revit.ini.

You are correct. Thanks for trying it on your end. I was told they are working to fix that so you can remove it without redoing the deployment.

Oh, ok, I made a service request about this and the answer is it can't be done, so just create a new deployment. And oh, you can always post it as an idea. Sigh.

Hhm, I'm not sure if I understand the problem correctly. And only tried with Revit 2022 deployment. But if you remove the entry:

from your "collection.xml", then your custom "Revit.ini" is not copied.
