AutoCAD freezes when lan cable not connected to laptop

Actually i have a network licence for seven users. I am one among the seven users. I can only work on AutoCAD when lan cable is connected to my laptop. Whenever i am connected to a wifi network or without internet connections, AutoCAD freezes when working on CAD. What can be done so that i can work without internet connection? Any solution that can solve this problem?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Since you have a network license you must be able to communicate with the license server unless you borrow a license. So when you're on your wifi or no internet connection arrangement are you still able to communicate to your server or the machine hosting the license manager?

In fact I am not connected with the server hosting the network licence.

Is that the problem?

Well if you have a network license it needs to communicate with the license server every so often to see if the license is still active or that the license manager is still running. If you need to be disconnected, borrow a license for a period of time.
