My CFD student licence doesn't work

I've downloaded a student licence of CFD 2019 on my laptop but I can't launch the software.

Also my work mate has the same problem. We have already checked the system requirements, everything seems ok.

Is anybody who has the same problem?

Are you seeing the splash screen? Is there any messages? Usually when software starts up and stops working, it points to an outdated video card driver or the card itself is not supported.

I have recently solved a while long problem with sketchbook for enterprise on a student license thanks to the support of the education team, so here goes...

Go to this file location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\CLM\V5\MSVC14\resources\adlm

Find the folder labeled en-US

Rename folder to en-GB

Run application

Problem solved

Let us know what happens when you try to launch the application (please provide a screenshot)?

Try to re-create the event/pull up the error using Event Viewer & locate the event error then search for it online this will help you determine the root cause.

This "can't launch" issue with edu cfd2019 was experienced by many of us at the time of the first release. It has been solved by the post of David Short (Autodesk support). It was all about downloading the software the right way (see my first post). I still suggest it if you haven't tried yet to uninstall and follow David's screencast.
