      <title>Inventor 2019 failed launch</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;when I downloaded Inventor and attempted to launch it would show but not open inventor. Please help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it the installer you have a problem with or have you installed it but it doesn't launch?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you look in the task manager, can you see a process called inventor.exe or other process containing "autodesk"?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Make sure that before you download, install &amp;amp; launch the following was conducted:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Logged in as Administrator&amp;nbsp;(check your permissions, full control)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Made sure you have an uninterrupted &amp;amp; high-speed&amp;nbsp;connection to the internet&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter&amp;nbsp;(Windows)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17228/windows-protect-my-pc-from-viruses" target="_blank"&gt;Temporarily disable security settings&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;like Antivirus, Firewall &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/975787/guided-help-adjust-user-account-control-settings-in-windows-7-and-wind" target="_blank"&gt;UAC&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;on your Windows operating system&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If the&amp;nbsp;above does not help, please consider continuing on to the following:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
