Loop trying to specify new License Server - Strange Solution

I was switching to a new computer as the License Server. I carefully copied (Ctrl+C) the Computer Name into a .txt file and saved it to the network. When I started my Autodesk program and was asked for the name of the License server. I copied it from the .txt file and pasted it into the appropriate box.

It would then start all over again with the first box. I reinstalled the NLM with no change. I also got the error described in THIS thread. But thanks to @TravisNave's posts. I could ignore that.

After multiple tries and research I wondered if typing in the new Server Name instead of using copy/paste would make a difference. I didn't think it would. But that was the key. The first time I typed the Name instead of pasting it. I connected with no problem. I think I've always used the Copy/Paste method since I'm prone to typos. No idea why it wouldn't work this time.

Posting this in case someone else encounters this problem

Oldie but a goodie! Copy/paste always seems to pick up some crazy hidden
return carriage or something that makes things wonky.

Yeah. Usually a trip through Notepad strips most things out. But obviously not this time.
