I have (again) an issue with automated Revit (2023) deployment using the Autodesk customized images (from the 'manage' webpage):

There have been updates to the IFC for Revit 2023 plugin/addin. If you include that IFC addin to the webinstaller it is not triggered correctly during setup. (verified that several times and on different devices).

The IFC addin setup startups during the regular revit installer and thus brings up the error message that another setup is already in process. (All the other autodesk Plugins are triggered correctly, just the ifc plugin crashes in the middle of the deployment routine.) One can cancel the error message and the 'main' Revit 2023 routine runs through smoothly, but please do something about the IFC routine, Autodesk! (in the meantime I will exclude this addin from my webinstaller)

(presumably the 'publish NWC' plugin doesn't install either, but at least it does not throw an error message at the user)

pls see screenshots

Seems like another example of the immature ODIS installer 😞

Anyway, since the IFC Exporter is updated regularly, I don't include it in the deployment but have it installed from a Windows Shutdown script.

Indeed. Simon, do you have an example for your shutdown method? I won't be able to use that anyway, because we're held to do that all via MS intune, but you never know...

I use several shutdown script, all called from the 'main' shutdown script. The main shutdown script is set using a GPO - something similar must be possible with Intune.

The shutdown script for Revit is a simple CMD script, this is a part of the script for Revit 2023 - it installs updates for Revit and also any Revit app.
<LI-CODE lang="general">@Anonymous off
