Cant run 3DS max 2020, crashes after initializing.

I run 3ds max 2020 and this loads up for about a minute or too then just closes out no report or anything. I have tried to reinstall multiple times.

Did it ever work or not?

Have you updated your video card? Don't rely on Windows telling you its up to date/

No it has never worked

my video card is up to date

I just downloaded the 3dsMax installer, ran it and it crashes on the initializing screen. Yes I have latest video drivers... (which is none sense to even ask, video drivers have NOTHING to do with a broken installer). I've installed several programs after this and they all run fine. Off to Blender, software that works.

Exactly the same issue, screenshot and all. (thx for posting the screen shot) there is obviously some major compatibility issues with the latest version. Yes i agree, this is why people are switching to the open-source programs such as Blender.

I would recommend that you update the licensing mechanism before installing 2020 product line https://synergiscadblog.com/2019/07/24/autodesk-licensing-mechanism/

How are you installing? Install now or something other method?
