Hi, i'm trying to install autocad 2020, but every time the same error occurs.

I have already try with all the fix methods suggest by autodesk, but no one seem to work for me.

Hello @Anonymous,

I could suggest several workarounds but it may lead to a clean uninstall anyway, so I suggest conducting a clean uninstall & reinstall.

Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
Make sure you have an uninterrupted & high-speed connection to the internet
Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)

No one of the solution offer by Autodesk worked for me. In the end i reboot my PC and now it works.

Hi,

when you say "reboot "you mean reboot and not "set up " your pc completely ( reinstall your Windows etc.) ?

In other words, did the recomendations help you ?

I have the same problem which is really time consuming.

Go into your Autodesk Account (manage.autodesk.com) product updates. Look for licensing mechanism update and apply that on your machine. Now try the installation again.

Are you seeing a 1603 error? Without your installation log file we can only speculate what the issue is at this point. So attach your installation file here so we can review it.

Posting info: Sometimes the installation log file contains the serial # that was assigned to you. Open your log file using Windows Notepad and perform a search on "/SN". Depending on the number of installation attempts, your serial # may be located throughout the log file. If present, remove or "X" out your serial # prior to posting.
