      <title>Revit Installation fails  - Code 1603</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can't install revit, i was using a trial version and it stopped working and i tried to reinstall it but since then i've got this error, even in the student version. I've done a clean uninstall, tried uninstall every C++ version but if im right the log doesn't indicate that the problem is it, so i don't know what to do and can't format windows now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even the Diagnostic Assistant crash... as you can see in the files attached.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI&gt;Conduct a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/clean-uninstall" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Clean Uninstall&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of the previous installation &amp;amp; use the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;MSfixitTool&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to complete it&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Log in as Administrator&amp;nbsp;(check your permissions, full control)&amp;nbsp;or &lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13951/windows-create-user-account" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;create a new profile&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I already did all of it(except trying to install in a new user because this way i think i coudn't acess the files from primary user correctly). Forgot to mention that im installing from the "offline" downloader the one which first download the files and then i can install. Downloaded from autodesk downloader manager.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you are using old download files try deleting them &amp;amp;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/download/about-download-methods/browser-download-method-for-autodesk-account" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt; downloading them from your Autodesk Account&lt;/A&gt; again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/microsoftaccounts.diagcab&amp;nbsp;" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;You may also want to try the Microsoft Account troubleshooter&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;it seems your profile may be restricting access to user folders that the installer needs full control permissions too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The software needs Administrator rights during installation &amp;amp; at first launch after installation. Also set up the application to run as Administrator.&lt;/P&gt;
